CHECK OUT WHAT BLACK FRIDAY IS ALL ABOUT...

Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States (the fourth Thursday of November) now its generally implemented and celebrated almost in all the nations of the world. Since the early 2000s, it has been regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the US, and most major retailers open very early (and more recently during overnight hours) and offer promotional sales. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but California and some other states observe "The Day After Thanksgiving" as a holiday for state government employees, sometimes in lieu of another federal holiday such as Columbus Day. Many non-retail employees and schools have both Thanksgiving and the following Friday off, which, along with the following regular weekend, makes it a four-day weekend, thereby increasing the number of potential shoppers. It has routinely been the busiest shopping day of the year since 2005, although news reports, which at that time were inaccurate, have described it as the busiest shopping day of the year for a much longer period of time.Similar stories resurface year upon year at this time, portraying hysteria and shortage of stock, creating a state of positive feedback.
In 2014, spending volume on Black Friday fell for the first time since the 2008 recession. $50.9 billion was spent during the 4-day Black Friday weekend, down 11% from the previous year. However, the U.S. economy was not in a recession. Christmas creep has been cited as a factor in the diminishing importance of Black Friday, as many retailers now spread out their promotions over the entire months of November and December rather than concentrate them on a single shopping day or weekend. The day's name originated in Philadelphia, where it originally was used to describe the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic that would occur on the day after Thanksgiving Use of the term started before 1961 and began to see broader use outside Philadelphia around 1975. Later an alternative explanation was made: that retailers traditionally operated at a financial loss ("in the red") from January through November, and "Black Friday" indicates the point at which retailers begin to turn a profit, or "in the black". Contrary to what many believed, Black Friday did not originate from the sales of slaves on the day after Thanksgiving. For many years, it was common for retailers to open at 6:00 a.m., but in the late 2000s many had crept to 5:00 or even 4:00. This was taken to a new extreme in 2011, when several retailers (including Target, Kohl's, Macy's, Best Buy, and Bealls ) opened at midnight for the first time. In 2012, Walmart and several other retailers announced that they would open most of their stores at 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, prompting calls for a walkout among some workers. In 2014 stores such as JCPenney, Best Buy, and Radio Shack opened at 5 PM on Thanksgiving Day while stores such as Target, Walmart, Belk, and Sears opened at 6 PM on Thanksgiving Day. Three states, Rhode Island, Maine, and Massachusetts, prohibit large supermarkets, big box stores and department stores from opening on Thanksgiving, due to blue laws. There have been reports of violence occurring between shoppers on Black Friday. Since 2006, there have been 7 reported deaths and 98 injuries throughout the United States. It is common for prospective shoppers to camp out over the Thanksgiving holiday in an effort to secure a place in front of the line and thus a better chance at getting desired items. This poses a significant safety risk (such as the use of propane and generators in the most elaborate cases, and in general, the blocking of emergency access and fire lanes), causing at least one city to ban the practice. Coined From Wikipedia. It is necesary to note that in Nigeria, some online retail websites and companies like jumia, konga, slot, yudala and others have taken advantage of this Black Friday to offer promotional sales to their customers at promotional and affordable rates. Individuals and Corporate bodies can take advantage of this Black Friday to purchase quality commodities at affordable prices.

Israeli boy dies and returned with spiritual messages concerning Jesus and more Revelation...

This life is a mystery! This 15-year-old secular Israeli boy named Natan had a near death experience on 28 of September, 2015 and returned to life describing Biblical prophecies about the End of Days. In a new video, Natan is shown speaking to an Orthodox Jewish audience in a synagogue in Israel, just days after his near death experience. He relates his understanding of what was revealed to him in the next world during the 15 minutes that he was pronounced clinically dead: Rabbi Rami Levy, who sits beside Natan and helps the teen tell his story, claims that Natan did not study in a Jewish religious school and did not learn the things he spoke about from the Bible. Levy himself was raised in a secular, anti-religious Israeli family. In 1982, while performing reserve duty in the Israeli army, he survived the Lebanon War through a miracle of Divine intervention. Levy subsequently became religious and was eventually ordained as a rabbi. Natan’s near death experience happened on the first night of this past Sukkot, which was also the night of the final Blood Moon. At the home of his uncle, where he went to visit for the holiday, Natan began feeling unwell. He described suddenly shivering and felt cold in his arms and legs. Natan decided to go and rest and, in those moments, felt his soul exit his body through his nose. Among the various spiritual messages experienced by Natan, which can be heard beginning at the 35 minute mark of the video, the young boy speaks about the messiah standing on the Mount of Olives and determining who is worthy to be saved. Natan describes this future scene saying that “the mountain simply opens…it splits in two,” though not by earthquake and not by atomic bomb. This vision matches a prophecy in Zechariah that the Mount of Olives, located just east of the Old City of Jerusalem, will split and create a valley. “And on that day His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem from the east. And the Mount of Olives shall split in the midst thereof-toward the east and toward the west-a very great valley. And half the mountain shall move to the north, and half of it to the south.” (Zechariah 14:4) In describing the qualities of the messiah, Natan said, “The Mashiach (messiah) is first of all someone who can’t sin. Someone who repented. Who didn’t commit any transgressions. It can’t be that the Mashiach is someone who committed transgressions. Now it can be someone who we actually know very well. Lots and lots of people know him, according to what I understood. But everyone will be very, very surprised that he is of all people the Mashiach.” Just before the 36 minute mark, Natan claims that the messiah will kill Gog, the leader of the nation of Magog, who will be a critical player in the final war of Gog and Magog and will bury him in Israel. This claim is consistent with a prophecy in Ezekiel that Gog will be buried in Israel. “And it shall come to pass on that day that I will give Gog a place there as a grave in Israel, the valley of them who pass along the east side of the sea, and it will then stop those who pass along. And there shall they bury Gog and all his hordes, and they shall call it the Valley of Hamon Gog.” (Ezekiel 39:11) Toward the end of the portion of the video, Natan describes the power of the Messiah to discern a person’s holiness. “I also saw that the moment Har haZeitim (Mount of Olives) splits into two, then the Mashiach will stand at the entrance, but he won’t…he won’t see who is religious, who has a beard and who a person is. What he will see is – he sees according to a person’s holiness, he will smell each person, he will smell if someone has holiness, if he is pure, if he did mitzvot (God’s commandments), if he performed acts of kindness. To see if he really has true fear of Heaven and not just fear of punishment, and things like that.” The idea that the messiah will be able to discern the righteousness of a person based on something other than physical appearance is reflected in a prophecy from Isaiah that describes the gifts of the messiah, including the ability to judge without relying on what his eyes see or what his ears hear. “And he shall be animated by the fear of the Lord, and neither with the sight of his eyes shall he judge, nor with the hearing of his ears shall he chastise. (Isaiah 11:-3) The release of the video has caused two types of major reactions – amazement mixed with fear or incredulity and denial. Susan Constantine is a world renowned body language expert specializing in deception detection. She has appeared as an expert on television and radio shows and in print publications in the US and abroad over 1,000 times. She reviewed the video at the request of a client. Although she is not an expert in the Jewish content of Natan’s testimony, Constantine verified the credibility of Natan’s presentation. In a statement she provided to Breaking Israel News, Constantine asserted, “I have reviewed the entire video and it is my professional opinion the boy Natan truthfully believes he experienced a visitation in heaven and was not being deceptive.” The Hebrew video that was first released in early October is nearly two hours long. A partial version with English subtitles was released earlier this month.

UNBELIEVABLE:tech company reveals ways to bring back life after Death...

A technology company called Humai says it's working on a project which would allow a human's consciousness to be transferred to an artificial body after their death. In what sounds like a plot from a science fiction blockbuster, tech company Humai are working on human resurrection through artificial intelligence. They're hopeful that the technology - bionics, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence - will be ready in just three decades. Creating an imprint of people to remain after they go, Humai is using artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to store data of conversational styles, behavioral patterns, thought processes and information about how bodies function. This data will be coded into multiple sensor technologies, which will be built into an artificial body with the brain of a deceased human. The science as they explain it means using cloning technology, they will be able to restore the brain as it matures. Their website explains: "Humai is an AI company with a mission to reinvent the afterlife. We want to bring you back to life after you die." Humai, based in Los Angeles, is funded entirely by CEO and founder Josh Bocanegra. Bocanegra told Australian Popular Science that the brain of the deceased will be frozen using cryonics technology so that when the technology is fully developed they can implant the brain into an artificial body. "The artificial body functions will be controlled with your thoughts by measuring brain waves. "As the brain ages we'll use nanotechnology to repair and improve cells," he adds, saying that cloning technology is going to help, and: "We believe we can resurrect the first human within 30 years."

A married woman who went for brazilian bumlift died from an ultra rare flesh eating...

A Married woman who went for a Brazilian 'bum-lift' to give her a new look died from an ultra-rare flesh-eating bug, an inquest heard. Jane Kiiza went to a top Harley Street surgeon for the buttock enhancement after her son - a Cambridge graduate - left home. But the 47-year-old became the first person in the UK to die from being infected with the deadly pathogen during fat transfer surgery, an inquest heard. The bacteria, found in soil and ground water which can spread several centimetres in an hour, tore through her body killing her just four days after the surgery, the coroner was told. The IT consultant from Hampstead in North London is the first British casualty to die from the procedure, which involves fat being taken from one part of the body and then being injected into the buttocks. Test found no traces of the bacteria in the privately-run theatre or iodine supplies at the Clementine Churchill Hospital. Senior Coroner Andrew Walker ruled her death was a result of complications from the operation said: "On June 19 2015 Ms Kiiza had surgery. "On 22 June Ms Kiiza became unwell and returned to the hospital where the surgery took place before being transferred to another hospital where she died. "I would like to add my deepest sympathy to the members of the family." Her inquest at North London Coroners Court yesterday heard she first visited top surgeon Dr Shailesh Vadodaria four weeks before to discuss liposuction and body contouring operation. Ugandan-born Ms Kiiza, who was otherwise healthy, wanted something done with the fat on her back, legs and stomach and said she knew of the risks. During surgery Dr Vadodaria removed fat from her abdomen, upper back, outer thighs and flank and injected it into different places on her bottom inserting a total of one and a quarter pints - 700ml. She was discharged the next day but just two days later texted him at 6.33am in pain writing: "Please call me. I had a very rough night. Where do I come to see you, the Clementine Churchill or Harley Street?" Giving evidence at her inquest, Dr Vadodaria said he "immediately" called her back as he was "worried about pulmonary embolism." As it was "obviously an emergency situation" she was told to come to Clementine Churchill Hospital's emergency care centre. But she was immediately transferred to the local NHS hospital Northwick Park hospital where she was given antibiotics but then went into septic shock. She was rushed into theatre so surgeons cut out the infection but was unwell the next day and another operation was planned. But before she could be prepared she went into cardiac arrest and died. Analysis of swabs revealed the infection had been caused by the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa found in everything from soil to water and does not normally cause an infection in healthy people, the inquest heard. The extremely rare flesh-eating infection was only found in Ms Kiiza's buttocks. Dr Vadodaria told her inquest: "I have never had any infection following fat extraction or liposuction so I was surprised that it had happened and that it had happened in the buttock area." Consultant emergency surgeon Mr Stuart Gould at Northwick Park said: "It is carried in the nose, it's carried in the bowel, it's in the environment. Despite skin on both sides of her body being swabbed with iodine solution before the operation Mr Gould said: "The risks are never completely removed." Asked why it didn't respond to antibiotics, he said: "You have to remove the source of the infection. Everything else is supportive. "Although antibiotics can address the infection through the blood stream it doesn't stop the source. "The spread of this is so rapid that the only solution is to remove the source. It can spread several centimetres in an hour. "It is so devastating that radical treatment is the only option." He added the infection was so rare he only found five published cases ever of it occurring after liposuction and only one case after fat transfer in the whole world. He confirmed it was the first British case he had found. An independent investigation undertaken by the Clementine Churchill found no cause for concern in the surgery or the doctors looking after her. "It seems to me that in these circumstances, Ms Kiiza died from complications of surgery." No member of Ms Kiiza's family attended the inquest but speaking outside the court, Dr Vadodaria gave his sympathy to the family. He said: "It is the first time it has happened and I wish it doesn't happen ever again to a patient or a surgeon."

Ex-minister bashir yuguba arrested over Dasuki...

Ex-minister bashir yuguba arrested over Dasuki- related fraud Ex-Minister Bashir Yuguda arrested over Dasuki-related fraud 1 hour ago A former Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda, has been arrested together with other top officials from the office of the National Security Adviser over the controversial arms procurement scandal surrounding former NSA, Sambo Dasuki. According to Premium Times, Yuguda was arrested in Abuja Monday afternoon, November 30, and has been questioned by detectives. Multiple sources at the EFCC said a huge amount of money – "running into billions" – meant for arms procurement was allegedly traced to the former minister. "The funds were directly transferred to him from the NSA office and he has been unable to explain the rationale for the transfer. The transfers were made to his account between December 2014 and May 2015," one of the sources said. READ ALSO: EFCC Arrests Dasuki's Associates (LIST) Yuguda allegedly received N1.5billion from the former NSA's office through an unnamed company, for unstated purpose. He also alleged received N1.275billion from Stallion Group during the campaign for the last general election. Another N775million was also allegedly paid to him from the office of the Accountant General of the Federation for unstated purpose. Top-ranking staff of the office of the NSA, who worked under Sambo Dasuki, have been also arrested by the EFCC, including the director of finance. "The suspects are being grilled by crack detectives and may not be allowed to go home soon," another source said. The spokesperson for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, comfirmed the arrest, however, said he was yet to be briefed on the matter. A presidential investigations committee into arms procurement under the Goodluck Jonathan administration had said in its interim report that it found extra-budgetary spending – N643.8 billion and an additional $2.2 billion. However, Dasuki has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, saying all contracts and accruing payments on arms procurement were made based on the approval of Jonathan. In Washington last week, Jonathan said his government never awarded any contract in the range of $2 billion dollars.

Nwabueze calls for calls calm, blames protests on had leaders

Nwabueze calls for calm, blames protests on bad leaders Nwabueze Calls For Calm, Blames Protests On Bad Leaders 4 minutes ago .. A call has gone out to pro-Biafra group under the auspice of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Actualisation Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) to reconsider their renewed calls for secession. Pro-Biafra Protesters file photos This plea was made by a constitutional lawyer and chairman of The Patriots, Professor Ben Nwabueze (SAN) Monday, November 30 in Lagos state. According to Vangaurd reports, Nwabueze blamed bad leadership in the country for this the new wave of protest for Biafra stating that the solution to the problem does not lie in secession. The legal luminary also added that sending the protesters to prison is either the solution. READ ALSO: Biafra Leadership: MASSOB Sacks Leader, Uwazuruike He hinged the cause for the new protest to what he termed as injustice melted out to the people of the southeast of the country f by the administration of President Muhamamdu Buhari for the renewed agitation for Biafra. Nwabueze said: "How can Nigeria with the kind of experience we had under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, elect another military commander and former head of the Federal Military Government as President. It doesn't make sense. Have we ever sat down to reflect on this. It's amnesia. Nigerians suffer from amnesia, loss of memory. We don't have memory of the past. It's possible the amnesia will repeat itself again after eight years, because President Muhammadu Buhari will go on for another eight years, and another military man will emerge and Nigerians will elect him. "What we are experiencing now under the current administration shows you that our problem has been leadership. What Nigeria needs is a leader who will guide this country as one, and not one Northern Nigeria. READ ALSO: BBC Reports On Nigerians' Biafra Worries "Nigeria needs a leader who will regard all the ethnic groups as his constituency. We have 389 ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. How do you coalesce them into one. That's what is called the national question, which is more challenging than corruption. Who can do it? It's not impossible. I believe that it can be done. But not under the present process, where somebody with the kind of Buhari's background and credentials could be elected and get imposed on Nigerians through this so-called electoral process." He opined that Biafra is never the solution to the poor of Igbo saying that they have tried fighting for Biafra and failed. He warned that the continued protests by the Igbo might led to mass killing because the people of southeast are scatter all over the country. "Between 1967 to 1970, when the war ended, millions of Igbos were killed. Is that what we want again? What did we achieve by that war? did we achieve Biafra? We didn't. Is there any basis to think that it can be realised this time? Are we more prepared for it now than we were in 1967. Certainly not, we aren't prepared for it," the Igbo leader said.

I noticed the lady he drops look pale and weak but I thought maybe she’s not feeling too well. I was still trying to open up conversation with her when she started vomiting blood. I alerted people that are around and in a twinkle of an eye, over hundreds of people gathered around her. At the initially stage, we thought it was a medical condition and we were trying to rush her to the hospital when one Alfa that also witnessed the incident after doing some prayers for the lady hinted us that the lady has been used by ritualists and her chance of surviving is very slim.” The road side trader squealed. She further said: “We were still trying to do all we could to save her from dying when a particular woman recognized the lady and quickly rushed to her parent’s house to inform them about their daughter’s plight. About 20 minutes later, the lady’s parents came to Benson Bus-stop and use a car to whisk their daughter away. What I truly don’t know is if the lady survives the incident or not cos I couldn’t leave my market to follow them.” The trader concluded However, people around Benson Bus-Stop also unanimously agree that the lady’s unadulterated fun seeking lifestyle helped fan the flames that caused her recent ordeals.

Motivational ADVICE...

A good number of leaked nude pictures are as a result of love gone sour. When it was sweet, all in the name of "I don't want to lose my man", they foolishly sent out nude pictures. And what you don't know is that some of these guys share your nudity with friends. Don't think you are the only one sending him nude pictures. A good number of men who ask for nude pictures do same with other girls, you're just one of his girls. Even your husband asking for it likely does that with many other women. Hard to swallow? I know, but that's the truth. What happens if that boyfriend of yours, decides to use that to blackmail you tomorrow for trying to leave him for another? Many women are stuck in relationships they should have no business with because they are afraid of the effects. If that guy has nothing against you, you can confidently take a walk when you should. Ladies, you are nobody's sex object. Anyways, some smart girls now download pictures of naked women and send to these insatiable guys...two can play the game. No man who has regard for womanhood and for your body will open his mouth to ask for such rubbish from you. Ladies, give yourself some respect and carry yourselves the way you want to be addressed.

JOKE TIME:lawyers should never ask a Georgia grandma a QUESTION...

Lawyers should never ask a Georgia grandma a question if they aren't prepared for the answer. In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know me?' She responded, 'Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realise you'll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.' The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know the defence attorney?' She again replied, 'Why yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.' The defence attorney nearly died. The judge asked both counsellors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said, 'If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you both to the electric chair.

BE THANKFUL FOR THE THINGS YOU HAVE...

MUST READ A man was in his jeep, he got to the Lagos traffic, he looked up and he saw a man flying a private jet, he said "How i wish, if I will reach up to this level so i can avoid Lagos traffic". When he looked behind he saw a man in a small car praying to God to give him a jeep to avoid the heat As that one looked up he saw another man in a motorcycle (Okada) also praying to God to give him a small car because the sun is too much Another man was trekking across the bridge also praying for God to give okada to avoid crossing the bridge all the time As he walked down he saw a cripple also praying for God to give him legs so that he can cross the bridge without wheelchair As the cripple was praying he saw ambulance passing by and the person inside also praying for God to give the dead body life and take away the two legs. Moral Lesson: No matter your condition always give thanks to God. If you are grateful to God today, just take 2seconds of your time and type "Thank You God"

SAPELE/DELTA STATE MUST BETTER. 30/11/2015. THE ENTIRE SAPELE PRAY FOR THE SOUL OF THE GIRL (Late Miss Rejoice Aghogho Igbi) WEN DAT EVIL BOY "SILAS" KILL SAY HIM USE MAKE MONEY! This na Sapele wey be the most peaceful place for Delta State. A town devoid of Ethnicity crisis and other crimes. "Tears" During the late 90's, people from Warri dey relocate to Sapele just for residents becos dem find the place very accommodating. Today Sapele don change, and DAT useless change nor go last! Sapele dey good in times of our forefathers. But for our generation, the reverse is the case. What a shame. We just dey record one form of death and another. (Sad) Dis morning, I nor wan talk much to corrupt the mind of people becos, na ocean of tears dey commot from my eyes. All of a sudden everybody for Sapele wan rich. Drive Big Cars. Go Club with Voltage. Build and Stay big House. Etc Dem talk say money na the fruit of all evil and na just d simple truth be that. Money, is the fruit of all evil indeed! Silas say na somebody call am to provide Human Head from Ghana. So that him go become Influential and get so much money. Now make we commot from this Silas issue becos na something dey bring something out. Na for Sapele, we go see one of us, either wen nor go school or get work, go just travel for like three weeks to few months, and when e dey come back, na with big Motor. For this Sapele here, both insane and normal people go begin celebrate the person. Nobody go boldly ask where and when he make the money wey he dey throway for air. The funniest thing be say, many Parents go say, God don answer deir prayers. Papa and Mama don dey work and dey do business for Sapele, for the past 10 to 20years and dem still dey rentage. Pikin go just come with Millions of Naira. None of unu go fit carry the pikin Sidon, ask am how e take get e money? If dem leave me, na the Government officials and Leaders wen we get nai me go face for this matter becos dem fold hands dey allow all dis evil acts dey continue. Today I dey call on the Leaders of Sapele to keep simplicity outside and face the fact of the day. E don reach the time, dem go dey carry some of us, wen dey spend money anyhow for this Sapele dey Sidon. Most especially Boys with Big Cars and Houses without any reasonable jobs to explain to unu the leaders how e take get him money. The fallen Heros of Sapele go don dey disappointed for their various graves, becos the good name wen dey hand over give us, we don dey abuse am before the International world. Today I dey use dis update dey call on our Sapele sons and daughters; near and far to join hands and eradicate dis menace for us. I dey call on the security agents to get to the root of this issue. To locate the caller from Ghana wen request for the Human head. Poor girl, just became a victim of circumstance! I think about her parents. I think about her mama when she get her belle. I think about her family members. I think about her friends. I think.... "Tears" Her dreams. Her thoughts. Her goals. And I think about God. Why this? Why?... "Tears" All the laws nor go fit pay for the blood of any human being. Justice cannot bring back the joy she give her family. But dear Lord, let her killer never go unpunished. I hardly lay curse on anyone cos everybody na my own. But this life wey Silas take, God go ask of am from e hand. My people, why the rush to make money? If na your destiny to be rich, even if na trek and carry waka you dey trek and waka for the town, when your time for God's agenda reach, you go trek into your millions. Youths! Sapele youths! Where unu conscience? If government bad nor mean say we go kill ourselves to make am. Make we search our mind and turn back to God. The cars, the buildings and the clubbing, all na vanity,we go die leave them one day. Just face your hustle. Everyday for the hustle, but one day for the hustler. One day, you go break into your billions. So calm down. Any fast way dey always get deep pit. To the young girl, all the tears from our eyes nor go fit sail you back to us. Not now. May God give your family the fortitude to bear this loss. Amen. Sapele mourns your death. May your soul find peace in the bosom of God. Amen. Report don reach us say,dem don transport the killer to Asaba for more interrogations and questioning. I know say the Law must condemn Silas to hanging, but it interest me to know the "Caller" becos as dis one fail,e go still try other means. So them must get am down. Let the IG be informed about this act,to pen the source of the human head request down,as fast as possible. We for Sapele Tafia Studio, light a candle for you, with our up down Blacks to wish you safe trip to Heaven. "It is better to make Heaven at a young age, than stay till old age and make Hell". Rest in peace till we meet to part no more. Amen. "Tears" Join us as we pray make God repose her soul by typing Rest in Peace. "Tears" May we nor experience such again. Amen.

DISADVANTAGES OF DOING IT BEFORE MARRIAGE...

Se x is everywhere. It permeates television shows, the Internet, and magazines. Even children’s movies often have thinly veiled sexual overtones. Today, society’s carefree thinking on se x out of wedlock is simply, “Why not?” Believing that “most are d0ing it anyway,” Most people say we’re in the 21st century and that’s now legal, but 99% of things that are legal are not right. Is this a b@d thing? Most say no. To support this position, some cite the well- documentedhealth benefits of being sexually active. some even say “”does se x belong only inside a marriage relationship””? What is wrong with reaping all the physical benefits of se x outside of wedlock so long as one is “smart” about it? hmmmm but I tell u, there are dangers for the sexuallyactive person: transmission of diseases, unwanted pregnancies, and potential emotional scarring from a promiscuous lifestyle of multiple partners. see our generation where teenage pregnancies are rampant. you meet young people “where they are” and talk openly about se x. Educators hope to arm teens with enough information to dispel the mystery of se x so they can “decide when they are ready” to lose their vir ginity. “One of the things young people say a lot is that the se x education they get is virtually meaningless, it’s too biological and doesn’t relate to how they are feeling. Essentially, parents have concluded they are no longer able to stop children from having se x. The best they can hope to do is teach them about it. sexually transmitted diseases have reached an unprecedented level. Even the “safest” se x can result in unintended pregnancies This can lead to the tragic decision to end the unborn child’s life through abortion, something a woman will carry for the rest of her life. If the couple decides to go ahead with the pregnancy, children of unmarried parents are often susceptible to a host of physical and emotional problems. children born to women who did not intend to get pregnant have been found to have lower birthweight, poorer mental and physical health, lower educational attainment, and more behavioralproblems than do children whose births were intended.” Men and women who are products of broken homes often have children out of wedlock as well, which leads to a vicious, multigenerational cycle of unhappiness. Couples who wait enjoy significantly more benefits than those who had se x earlier.. A healthy, happy marital relationship produces similar relationships in the lives of children who come from them. In short, happy couples produce happy children. It is a parent’s job to proactively teach about se x. Yet parents have to compete with what their children learn from this world’s “sexperts”—the hyper sexualized media, permissive sexual education at school, misguided how-to websites—as well as their peers. While these sources may supply some correct information about purely physical aspects, the majority of what they teach includes much error. Add to this the pull on young people to learn by their own experiences, which can be painful. Because of these factors, many parents, who do not truly understand the purpose of se x, are perfectly happy to outsource the difficult job. On the other hand, well-meaning parents who seek to discourage premarital se x might simply say: “Because I said so!” or even, “Because God said it’s a sin!” Others, feeling it is inevitable that their child will have $ex, may hand their son or daughter a condom and tell them to “be safe.” In both scenarios, parents merely pass along what they feel is right or what others have told them—without ever proving the truth for themselves. By comiting to premarital se x you risk….. 1. The risk of disobeying God and letting Satan get a foothold The Bible, time after time tells us to flee sexual sins. Why? Because it is a major strategy of the devil to sabotage God’s work on Earth. 2. The risk of shame Premarital se x imputes a spiritual state of shame that becomes a major weapon of Satan. God forgives you, but you will still face the fruit of the sin and you’ll still be vulnerable to Satan’s whispering accusations on your worth as a person and your value as an active individual. 3. The risk of sexual dysfunction People spend millions of dollars to correct sexual dysfunction through drugs and psychotherapy. Why? Because they entered marriage with unresolved sexual issues. For example, a man may think that he will be free from the curse of Indecency once he gets married, only to find that the problems are even more noticeable and controlling. READ ALSO: Nigerian Ladies : See How To Get Your Virginity Back After You Lose It 4. The risk of placing your future children in spiritual harm’s way The Bible clearly speaks of the concept of generational sin. What you sow (plant) spiritually may be reaped in the life of your children. Break the power of Satan’s curse. Remain pure before God and you’ll be tenaciously guarding the future of the next generation. , 5. The risk of depression Those who participate in premarital se x experience emotional damage that may lead to an increased chance of mental depression and emotional despair. 6. The risk of permanently damaging your testimony as a Christian or Muslim You’ll never be able to honestly say, “I was a vir gin before I was married.” You’ll never be able to live as an example of committed purity. 7. The risk of damaging the destiny of your future marriage There is no way that premarital se x of any kind could be a plus for your future marriage. It only causes suspicion, mistrust, and regret. 8. Risks of incurable disease Imagine that you have found that one special person with whom you want to share your life. And now you are forced to break the news that you have an incurable disease. Even though such diseases like herpes are generally not considered life threatening, there are no cures. Not only is it incurable, it fills a life with worries, awkward revelations, and continuous need for medication. Herpes and other STD’s are everywhere. Why risk contracting an STD? 9. The risk of lost relationships When you choose to develop a sexual relationship with someone, you have immediately changed the entire definition of the relationship. God’s intent was for a man and woman to enjoy se x throughout the course of a lifetime. There is no such thing as casual se x. Once you have developed a sexual relationship, that relationship turns a critical corner. After the relationship ends, you and your partner will experience the guilt and pain of promises broken. 10. The risk of death No one can deny that having se x before marriage can have grave consequences. disease like AIDS and its likes kills its victims. The choice is yours…

Pete Edochie speaks of his Role in Biafra...checkout what he said..

My Role In Radio Biafra - Pete Edochie Popular Nollywood actor, Chief Pete Edochie turned 68 on March 7, 2015. In this exclusive interview with Sunday Trust, he speaks on how he met his dear wife, Josephine, his role in Radio Biafra, why the epic film “Things Fall Apart” remains a classic, among other interesting things. Heres the Excerpts: You clocked 68 years on March 7, 2015. Can you give us an insight into your background, what growing up was like? I was born at Makurdi in present Benue State and I was also born at Enugu. It may sound a little confusing but I must clarify. My father worked in the Railways. So he was at Makurdi when my mother was due. So she came down to Enugu here, gave birth to me in 1947, on the 7th of March and then went back with me to Makurdi. How am I sure I was born on the 7th of March, 1947? My mother told me that there were three events that took place that year: Number one: there was an eclipse of the sun. Number two: there was salt scarcity. Then number three” there was the first train derailment at Plateau in Northern Nigeria. All these things happened the same year. So we moved from Makurdi to several towns in the north when we got to Kano and from Kano, we moved over to Zaria. And I started schooling in Zaria - St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Zaria. As I got older, I moved into the senior segment of the school - St. Theresa’s Catholic School in same Zaria. When I finished primary school, I moved into St. John’s College, Kaduna in 1960. That was the biggest school in the north then; everybody wanted his child to be educated there. Having been to St. John’s College, Kaduna, I left in 1964, joined my father in the Railways, and did a course in Journalism and Television, at the School of Journalism and Television, England. Then when incivility compelled us to migrate from the north, I stopped in Enugu and then joined the Eastern Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation in February 1967, along with three other people - my wife, Josephine Obiekwe then, Oguguo Okenwa and Veronica Ifulu. And not long after, the Biafra- Nigeria war started and we were compelled again to move to join the Voice of Biafra with my wife. At the end of the war, we came back to Enugu - then it metamorphosed once again into East Central State. Then I belonged to the East Central State Broadcasting Service (ECSBS). Then Anambra came and I became part of Anambra Broadcasting Service or Broadcasting Corporation. Then in 1991, states were created. And I became part of Anambra State Broadcasting Service. I‘ve been part of plenty of metamorphoses. I trained in the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) in 1980. In 1987, I became the pioneer director of the ABS 3 FM Stereo. I Christened it “Sunrise ‘96” because the sun rises from the east in the morning. At a stage, the Nigerian government under the army became too scary of the word ‘sunrise’. They said it reminded them of Biafra. So, all the emblems that bore the sun and its rays were eliminated from our social life. At one point, I was invited by the then governor, Col. Robert Nnaemeka Akonobi. They were now asking me why I preferred “Sunrise ‘96’’. I said, sir, if you can tell me which other part of the world the sun rises, I will change it. And he said alright, Pete you can continue with that your name “Sunrise ‘96” and it has been there till today. Was it a coincidence that you married a broadcaster? Well, yes it is a coincidence, alright. She was my contemporary and I fell in love with her and I married her. She used to be one of our best announcers. She is a lawyer today and we are still there. We’ve been married for the past 46 years. And we have everything to be grateful to God. How was it working with Radio Biafra in the turbulent period of civil war? It was challenging because we would terminate our transmission at 3.00am and then we would begin to walk home. It was lonely. It was risky, in fact. Again, God helped us. Working in Radio Biafra, The Voice of Biafra was a very big challenge. I had people who inspired me a lot; they are almost all dead now. Ikenna Ndaguba, Tony Ibegbuna was not with us in Voice of Biafra. Earnest Okonkwo, a commentator, Lawrence Emeka, who got his MON before me, and Egbuna Obidike, was controller, The Voice of Biafra. Then we had Eno Iwu, a fantastic broadcaster, and we had a very fine crop of broadcasters then and we transmitted in a couple of languages - we transmitted in Hausa, Yoruba, Tiv and they were all being done by Igbos. At a point that radio station was a rave of the moment, according to people? It was because a lot of people listened to us: Okoko Ndem was reading the commentaries and he became a master there. Emmanuel Ogbuagu was doing war reports and each time his signature tune was played, everybody got closer to their radio sets to know how far the Biafran soldiers had gone in chasing back the Nigerian soldiers then. Well, I recall the experience now with a lot of nostalgia. Occasionally, the experiences of Biafra haunts me when I am alone, especially when I remember my colleagues who had since died. That’s life. We must all go some day. We didn’t all come together. We‘ve been going one by one, and a lot of them have gone. Still on Radio Biafra. Were there things you did that time but looking back now, you may find regrettable? I ask this question because some people had the notion that Radio Biafra misled the public. (Long pause) I don’t know what you mean by Radio Biafra misled the public. The war was forced on us and we had to survive. I ran away from the north; I was born and bred there. I had no reason to run except that I wanted to protect my life. Our people were being hunted down and killed like rats in the north in 1966. First of all, there was a coup on January 15, 1966. The most prominent name in that coup was Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu. He came from Okpanam, now in Delta State. A lot of prominent Nigerians were killed in that coup. In Eastern Nigeria, Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna was detailed to kill Dr. M.I.Okpara, then Premier of Eastern region. At about that time, Archbishop Macharious from Cyprus was visiting M.I. Okpara. It was a very tough assignment for Ifeajuna. At the end of the day, Okpara survived and other premiers were killed in the north, in the west, in what was then the Midwest, where Okotie Eboh was. Because of that it was termed an ‘Igbo coup’, because the most prominent name in the coup was Chukwuma Nzeogwu. Specifically, people talked about propaganda - they said there was too much propaganda by Radio Biafra which eventually made people see things from the perspective of the radio station and thereby prolonging the war? I don’t know how old you were then but I guess this question of yours is based on crass ignorance. Whatever we transmitted then, was the actual state of affairs. We gave unadulterated report of what happened at the war front. And if you wanted to know anything about the situation of the war, you had to tune to Voice of Biafra. We did not mislead anybody and that was why when the war ended, the then Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon said there was no victor, there was no vanquished; which was very magnanimous of him actually. I can recall very vividly that when Gowon took over after his coup on 29th July, 1966, in his very first broadcast, he said: “The basis for unity does not exist in Nigeria.” So probably, that became a very prophetic statement considering what is happening in Nigeria now. He probably may not recall that but I still remember the statement vividly. And when the war started, there was this conference that was held in Aburi, Ghana where the then Biafran Head of State, Chukwuemeka Ojukwu said: “Instead of all of us to co-exist within a politically suffocating atmosphere, why don’t we pull slightly apart so we can breathe more conveniently?” Ojukwu was advocating confederation. Gowon agreed and we thought there was going to be peace but the BBC gave Ojukwu’s comment a very dangerous interpretation. BBC said Gowon was bamboozled by Ojukwu with his Oxford University knowledge. So Nigerians were compelled to renege on those decisions. It was a very sad thing but is all in the past now. So if you were not a broadcaster and actor, what would you have been? I would have been a journalist. I would have been a very big journalist. My knowledge of journalism determines my reaction with people. We have managed to get the Freedom of Information Bill (FoI). A lot of journalists think it’s a license to libel others; that’s not what it should be. Everybody is entitled to protection of his or her identity, and if you libel anybody, the person has the right to go to court. The film that brought you to national prominence was the adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s “Things Fall Apart.” Now, is there anything you can still tell the public about that classic film? Well, let me say that the finest brains in the movie industry then were assembled to do that film and it won an international award. Chinua Achebe - God rest his soul - said that the best interpretation of the character in Obi Okonkwo was done by Peter Edochie. A lot of people had done that beat under different titles but Achebe said Pete Edochie gave it the best interpretation. And until he died, he was calling me Okonkwo, Ebubedike. He was very fond of me. He thought I did my best. The film received very favourable reviews and I was very happy about it. The producer, Adiele Onyedibia was an incredible human being. How he managed to assemble all of us, drilled us all through production was a miracle. Actors, ordinarily, are hot heads but most of us were involved in broadcasting so it was easy for us to operate under given laws. And we tried as much as possible, not to create chaos while we were on set. We were all advanced in our various offices. In fact, we were all managers on grade level 14. So it was a collection of very senior people from the television stations and others from the academia, like Professor Kalu Uka, retired from University of Calabar; he was at University of Nigeria at the time. Two of the greatest broadcasters this country had produced - Ralph Okpara (he’s dead now), John Ekwere, who engaged me in broadcasting, and he was an inextinguishable source of inspiration to me. He took part in that production because he said “I trained Pete, if Pete had accepted to play the part of Okonkwo, then put my name. I will play alongside Pete.” Ralph Okpara said the same thing. But I thank God that I also had something to offer to those who played alongside me. And I don’t think I disappointed them.

21 years old stabs lagos landlord to Death..

Some hoodlums started a street fight on Olorogun Street, Odo Eran, in the Itire area of Lagos State on Tuesday, during which a 21-year-old stabbed a landlord, identified as Alawu Lateef, to death. PUNCH Metro learnt that Lateef, who was a father of three, had intervened in the fight, and asked the hoodlums to leave the area, when one of them, identified as Lati Elepo , stabbed the landlord. It was gathered that the father of three slumped, while residents arrested Elepo before he could escape with the other hoodlums. The matter was said to have been reported at the Itire Police Division. Our correspondent learnt that the hoodlums, numbering six boys, had come from Osindero Street to meet one Balogun, who they claimed owed them about N30,000. It was learnt that when the hoodlums did not meet Balogun at home, they started to make trouble on the street. The landlord, Lateef, who worked as a panel beater, was said to have asked Elepo to leave the area with his gang members. The hoodlum, however, stabbed him in the chest. Friends and family members rushed the landlord to a private hospital in the area, from where he was referred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba, where he was confirmed dead. His corpse was afterwards brought to the Itire division. When PUNCH Metro visited the area, one of his neighbours, who identified himself simply as Rashidi, said Lateef did not have any business with the miscreants, but only tried to pacify them when Elepo stabbed him on the chest. Rashidi added that Elepo and two other suspects were arrested by the police. He said, “It was at about 11am when these boys from Osindero stormed our street. They are teenagers. They are not cultists. They said Balogun owed them N30,000 which they must collect from him. “Lateef did not want such commotion on the street. So, he came out to caution them to take things calmly. The one who stabbed him was drunk. “While Lateef spoke with them, the suspect went to a shop of an artisan who sharpens knives and other metals, grabbed about three knives and stabbed Lateef on the chest. Resident arrested him and dragged him to the police station while other hoodlums ran away.” The landlord’s wife was said to be too distraught to talk with PUNCH Metro as of the time of visit. Another neighbour, who spoke on condition of anonymity said, “Lateef was a nice man. His wife gave birth to their third child just two months ago. If Balogun was around, Lateef would not have intervened in the rampage.” Our correspondent gathered that policemen visited the street in the evening and raided other suspected hoodlums lurking in the area. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joe Offor, said he would get back to our correspondent on the incident. He, however, had yet to get back as of press time.

Boko haram on revenge mission kills 7 in fresh attacks...

boko haram on revenge mission Boko Haram On Revenge Mission, Kills 7 In Fresh Attacks 2 hours ago It seems Islamist sect, Boko Haram, has launched a revenge mission. Seven persons, including a soldier have been reportedly killed in a raid by the terror group in both Bam and Gajigana villages of Biu and Magumeri local government areas of Borno state. Vanguard reports that the insurgents who were at Bam village at about 3:30 am over the weekend left with an unspecified numbers of unmarried teenage girls unchallenged. They killed three persons alongside a soldier and injured many in Gajigana village before carting away foodstuff. No one could contend with them as they also set shops and houses on fire. READ ALSO: Nigerian Army Discloses Reason For The Spread Of Boko Haram Mallam Ali Bam, one of the residents of the area who fled to Miringa town for safety, told Vanguard on phone that: "the Boko Haram terrorists after separating a lot of teenage girls from married women in Bam, set ablaze the whole village and fled with the girls unchallenged, as the attack lasted for some hours before they fled. I called on General Buratai to do something as we have been telling the soldiers that the Boko Haram were so close to the village, but they only went to Mangari village which is few kilometers away from Buratai and shot into the air and left. The soldiers don't want to confront the terrorists, Buratai should better do something before they start attacking and sacking villages, as they were doing before." Bam is about 7 kilometers away from Buratai village, the home town of Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai. The village has suffered series of Boko Haram attacks of recent, even a mansion owned by the Army General was burnt down recently by the Boko Haram members. Mallam Aliyu Jibrin, a member of the Civilian JTF from the attacked area, noted sadly how the attack in Gajigana could have been avoided if soldiers had not taken to their heels, fleeing away without facing the insurgents. "I believe it was a revenge mission, because recently, we arrested over 17 Boko Haram insurgents in the community and handed them over to the military. I am calling on the Federal government and the military authorities to do something about the pockets of insurgents in the bushes and villagers before they regroup and start attacking big towns and villages," he said. Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army recently warned citizens to be security conscious and extra vigilant as the Christmas and New Year celebrations is approaching.

Akinjide urges President to dialogue with biafra...

akinjide urges President to dialogue with biafra Akinjide Urges President To Dialogue With Biafra Protesters 1 hour ago Chief Richard Akinjide has said that the agitation for an independent Biafra state championed by some Igbo people is wrong and that the country needed to unite. In an interview with vanguard, the former minister of justice and attorney general in the second republic talked about the selection of ministers by President Muhammadu Buhari and noted that the minister of the federal capital, Muhammadu Bello is from the north which has been the trend since the capital was moved from Lagos to Abuja. READ ALSO: Ojukwu's Widow Visits Nigeria He said: "He (Buhari) nominated very good people, I have no doubt about that. But my concern is with Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. When we were in Lagos as Federal Capital, Yar Adua was a Minister for Lagos and he came from the North. When Obasanjo was in office before the Capital Territory was created, a Yoruba person was in charge. But since the Capital Territory has been created, Northerners have been ministers throughout. I don't think that is the best for the country. I will like to see an Igbo, Yoruba, Middle-Belt man be a minister in charge of the Capital Territory. To consistently pick someone from the North as Minister for the Capital Territory is not in our national interest and is not good. I am not saying the people that have been picked are bad but I am talking about geographical spread. We should not give the impression that the capital territory belongs to a particular part of the country. It should be something that belongs to the whole country. That is the objection I have and I hope that will be corrected very soon." He added that there was no reason to support the agitation for Biafra as Igbos have served in great capacities in the country and urged the president to dialogue with them. Anybody supporting Biafra must be very, very wrong. I don't know their reason but whatever their reason, they are wrong. We fought a war for three years over Biafra and Biafra was defeated and the whole country united with the belief that Nigeria should remain one country and the Igbo joined the country and since then they have been governors in the country, they have been ministers both at the state and federal levels. They have been ambassadors abroad. I don't see why anybody should now be asking for Biafra again, I think it should be rejected. READ ALSO: Pro=Biafra Protests Hit Ukraine I think they should call them to a meeting and talk to them as father to son and ask them to stop because there is no reason for them to do what they are doing. In the last government, we had an Igbo as Minister of Finance (Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala) and also, we had an Igbo as Secretary to the government, we also had Igbo as ambassadors in many parts of the world. So, there is no excuse for anybody to say he wants to break up the country again after we fought a bloody war of about three years. We don't want to go back to that. We want peace everywhere and we want a fair share whether you are from the North, East, West, South, Middle-Belt everything should be evenly and fairly distributed. You can read the rest of the interview here. Meanwhile, the Ohaneze Youth Wing told the federal government that it will give room for dialogue only after the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra.

Boko haram:Bishop kukah accuses Northern elites...

boko haram: Bishop kukah accuses Northern elites B'Haram: Bishop Kukah Accuses Northern Elites 17 minutes ago Matthew Kukah, the Roman-Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, has accused northern elites of standing behind the deadly Boko Haram sect. The cleric has said that elites indirectly created insurgency as they used religion to deceive poor Muslims. Kukah made this revelation in his crucial address at a conference organised by the Islamic Welfare Foundation at the Fountain University, Osogbo. He said: "The Muslim agenda for Nigeria: Challenges of development and good governance', Kukah said: "A hypocritical elite continues to believe that it can claim the benefits of democracy but use it only to consolidate its hold on power. This is what has laid the foundation for what is now Boko Haram. We must locate the current crisis of Boko Haram within the context of the inability of the northern Muslim elite to live by their own dubious creed of being Muslims. They preached Sharia Law but only for the poor. They preach a religion that encourages education, yet their own people are held in the bondage of ignorance. READ ALSO: Boko Haram Attacks Cameroon Again, Kills 7 "They came to power on the basis of a democratic society but they turned around and declared Sharia to generate a false consciousness among the poor that they want a theocracy. They did not wish to live by the same standards, so they decided to live their own Islam in the capitals of the world away from the prying eyes of their own people. Boko Haram began as a revolt against this mendacity, subterfuge and hypocrisy. "Now, I hear Muslims in northern Nigeria hiding under the cover of the facts by saying: 'These Boko Haram people are not Muslims. They do not represent us'. Well, first, they are your own children. You must take responsibility for what has made them what they are today and to the rest of society. They claim they have been inspired by the Quran and no other holy book. They say they want to build an Islamic state. So, they are Muslims. After all, from the debates of the Constituent Assemblies of 1979, 1988, and 1995 and beyond, did their fathers and grandfathers not stage walkouts, demanding Sharia Law? Was it not to tame them that President Ibrahim Babangida declared what he called 'no-go areas' in the debates about our constitution? READ ALSO: Boko Haram: Buhari Calls For Commonwealth's Support "The promise to institute Sharia has become the most potent tool for political mobilisation and organisation. Till date, the tactics may have changed, but the essence has not. Rather than face the tough questions of how and why over 15 million children in the northern states are on the streets; how and why the northern states are falling behind on almost every index of development, the northern Muslim elite continues to live for just the moment, with no plans for tomorrow. "Should we pretend that a society that allows the forced marriages of its young daughters could frown on the idea of a group kidnapping and forcing young girls into sexual slavery? Islam must have an honest look at the mirror and have an internal discussion. Although we all seem to pretend that Boko Haram has caught us unawares, the worst thing is that we continue to hide our heads in the sands of self-deception by further denying the roots of this ugly side of our humanity. "That Boko Haram, its disciples and victims are localised to northern Nigeria, should be instructive. What this calls for is an honest review of the root causes. We need to ask what it is about the past or the present that has led us to this ugly and deadly path. It is my considered view that northern Islam has to confront the realities of taking its religion into the modern world of democracy seriously. Muslims in northern Nigeria cannot accept democracy and reject the inclusive nature of its philosophy as it is the case today."
