Man throws acid at Bulgarian woman in India 18:55 13/11/2015 Lucknow - Indian police say they are looking for a man who threw acid at a 23-year-old Bulgarian woman after she reportedly spurned his marriage offer in a northern Indian city popular with foreign tourists. District Magistrate Rajmani Yadav said Darya Yurieva was hospitalized with severe eye injuries in Varanasi, a holy Hindu city on the banks of the Ganges river in Uttar Pradesh state. Police said she had stayed in the same guesthouse for three months earlier this year.
