PROFITABLENESS...

PROFITABLENESS..... The story is told of Emmanuel Ninger who was arrested in 1887 for passing counterfeit $20 bills. A search of his home revealed the tools he used for producing counterfeit notes hidden in his attic. They were very simple: an easel, some paper, a paint brush and some paint. Emmanuel Ninger was a brilliant artist. Meticulously, stroke by stroke, he painted $20 notes by hand. When the authorities searched the attic of his house, they also found 3 amazing works of art that he had painted. At a public auction some time later, those 3 paintings sold for a little over $16,000. Here's the irony of the story: It took Emmanuel Ninger the same amount of time to paint a counterfeit $20 note as it did to paint a beautiful art work worth around $5000. Emmanuel Ninger had great talent with a wrong value system and a sense of priority. He had amazing talent and skill as an artist, but wasted it on copying something of little comparative value. This condition can be found in many lives, as people with great gifts and abilities function in roles far below their potential. May the Lord teach you to use your gifts, talents, and resources in the most beneficial way so that you will profit.
